Tues, Apr 22, 2025, 6:30-8:30 PM. St John the Evangelist Admin Bldg, Seattle

The Saint Francis of Assisi Ministry is hosting a screening of The Letter. This documentary, which was released in 2022, tells the story of a journey to Rome of frontline leaders to discuss the encyclical letter Laudato Si’ with Pope Francis.

The exclusive dialogue with the Pope, included in the film, offers a revealing insight into the personal history of Pope Francis and stories never seen since he became the Bishop of Rome.

Come join us on Earth Day 2025, Tuesday, April 22 at the St John Admin Building at 106 N 79th Street, Seattle. We will begin at 6:30 with an opening prayer and brief introduction to this extraordinary film. We will then watch The Letter, which is 80 minutes in length.

In light of the passing of our Holy Father the day before this event, we will encourage people to share their feelings about The Letter, Laudato Si, and what Pope Francis meant to them during the discussion time following the film.
