In celebration of Earth Day, our Parish Family’s Saint Francis of Assisi Ministry is hosting our Second Annual Heron Habitat Viewing at the Ballard Locks, Seattle, Washington, on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9-11 AM at Commodore Park on the Magnolia side of the locks.

St John Parishioner and Heron Habitat Helpers docent, Elizabeth White, will lead the viewing. Bring your binoculars as we learn about herons and their habitat, and get a chance to view herons nesting in the trees in Commodore Park. Children are welcome.
