Sick World

“We carried on regardless, thinking we would stay healthy in a world that was sick,” Pope Francis said at the end of March. A sick world and now sick us. The inextricable connection between the health of the environment and the health of the world’s people.

But we are not doomed, there is hope. “The worldwide coronavirus pandemic is not God’s judgment on humanity, but God’s call on people to judge what is most important to them and resolve to act accordingly from now on.”

We are all connected. We always have been, but now it is more apparent than perhaps ever before. We need to comfort each other and make lasting changes in our value system to ensure a healthy world exists for future generations.

So, what will you change?

Working together, we can help take care of our common home.
