Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there. What does Mother’s Day have to do with climate change and sustainability? Actually, a lot. All mothers want to leave a better world to their children and grandchildren. This is why many mothers support action for climate change and many of those people active in the climate change movement are mothers.
In fact, there are a number of groups of mothers organizing for action on climate change, including Mothers Out Front and Moms Clean Air Force.
This Mother’s Day, we would like to thank mothers everywhere for their dedication to their children. We’d also like to encourage mothers, sons, and daughters everywhere to join together to help heal Mother Earth for countless generations to come.
